*Identity

The fungus is called black fungus or mucormycosis. This fungus is present in our environment.

*How does it enter the body?

Some fungus floating in the air can enter the human body through our nasal sinuses and lungs. It can also enter the body through any part of the body. If the fungus enters the body through a cut or burned part of the body, then it is a local infection, and it is not matter of concern. But if the fungus enters our body through the sinuses, then it gradually affects the eyes and the brain. Once in the brain, the fungus takes on a deadly form. Moreover, when it enters the lungs through the nose, it causes pulmonary mucormycosis.

*Why did this fungus suddenly take the form of death?

According to Aiims director Randeep Gularia, adequate use of steroids, use of cheap steroids and use of ordinary tap water in the flow meter of oxygen cylinder etc. The disease is also more prevalent among Covid patients due to low immunity. 

*Symptoms

Early symptoms include sinus pain, one sided nasal congestion, a certain aspect of the head and toothache moreover, with fever.

*Treatment

As soon as it enters the body, the fungus enters through nose to eye and then attacks the brain. This time you need experts. Surgical removal of the all areas of the body where the fungus will spread. Some patients have lost their eyesight also.

2.While gardening and house cleaning must wear full sleeves.

3.Wear mask

4.Avoid traveling through dirty dusty places

5.Use footwear and gloves when working in the garden

6.Cut your toenails and keep them clean
