Restaurant Style Simple Egg Potato Curry



Ingredients:- 

  • 8 Boiled eggs or as you required
  • Cooking oil
  • Turmeric powder
  • Cumin seeds
  • Bay leaves
  • Onions
  • Green Chili
  • Ginger, Garlic paste
  • Coriander powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Red chili powder
  • Kashmiri Red chili powder(optional)
  • Tomatoes
  • Boiled Potatoes
  • Salt (as per taste)

Cooking Time:- 30 Minutes


Method:-

Step-1

 First heats up a Pan for 2-3 minutes. When the pan heats up add cooking oil. Now you need boiled eggs, make small holes or cut in eggs. Add eggs in oil to fry, add 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder. Fry the eggs till it becomes golden brown in color. Now transfer the eggs to a plate from oil and keep it aside.

Step-2

 In the same pan, add 1 tbsp cumin seeds and 2-3 Bay leaves, add 2 medium sizes chopped Onions, and fry it until the onion becomes light brown in color. Add green Chilies and Ginger-garlic paste, stir it well for 2 minutes on medium flame. After 1-2 minutes add 1 tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp Cumin powder, 1 tbsp Coriander powder, Garam Masala powder, 1/2 tbsp Red chili powder, 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri red Chili powder for color (optional), stir all these things well. 

Step-3

 Add 2 medium size chopped Tomatoes and Salt to taste (as per taste). Cook until Tomatoes are Soft. After 3-5 minutes when Tomatoes are soft, add boiled and peeled Potatoes. Mix Potatoes along with spices for 2 minutes. Now add fried eggs, mix all these things well. Add 2 cups water, you can add more water as you required. Cook it on low flame for 5 minutes. 

Step-4

 In the end, add chopped Coriander leaves (optional) for garnishing and let it boil for a minute. Now, Delicious Egg Potato Curry is ready to serve. You can serve this Egg potato gravy recipe with Rice or Roti (flatbread).
